RUNNER- trader term referring to booking profits on a short term position, while leaving a small portion of that position to run
KISS– acronym based on principle “keep it simple, stupid”
Used in trading to avoid all the noise and and keep it simple
JANUARY EFFECT-a calendar related market anomaly in the stock market where prices increase in the month of January
QE 1 , QE2 and QE infinity quantitative easing is monetary policy used by central banks to stimulate national economy

HOD/LOD– is a trading term referring to the “high of day”(or “low of day”) in a specific stock. These are usually entries points or stop levels to trade against.
Cup and Handle– a bullish chart pattern usually leading to higher prices in the underlying security.

Bull Flag/Bear Flag– a technical chart pattern that gives a high probability of where the underlying security might trade next

Verse(vs)-is a term used in trading to indicate where you put your stop in. Structured trading plans with defined risk management will use stops(orders placed below market price to define your risk). When scalping short term trades, you will trade your runner verse(vs) your entry or slightly below to reduce risk
Open Interest(OI)-The total number of options at a specific exercise price that are not closed or delivered on a particular day
Back n Fill- bullish consolidation in the market, to gather energy before going higher

Relative Strength/Weakness- when a stock shows strength or weakness compared to the S&P 500, or the sector it trades in. The strength/weakness can show up intra-day or over weeks/months.
