Dave – so you would have gotten into AMZN above Wednesday’s highs, correct? Friday’s high was $274.54 which is only 2 dollars above today’s high? Just curious how CWUS is paying on this one? I didn’t get in because the gap above Friday’s high was already too large from yesterday’s close. It’s gapping down as we speak.
Gaps are very tricky to trade. I will go over many things with my methodology soon….and gaps will be one of the chapters. See ya soon…
AMZN took out 10 EMA yesterday and I sold a call spread, but it reclaimed 10 EMA today. I took a loss. How should I have managed this trade? I guess I shouldn’t have shorted…
274 was the entry on AMZN, and you should have scaled +2 and trailed rest verse your entry…. see ya soon in FCPS
Thanks for the reply. I trade mostly options and futures. I prefer selling premium, but I realize that you trade breakouts. In FCPS, would you give us suggestions as to which options to buy/sell? Thanks
I will be posting equity and option trades in @fitzstockcharts ( my locked premium Twitter account for subscribers)
